Led Consulting Services organization for CGI’s Government ERP practice.

As the Operational Manager of RSI’s Proposal Development Group, directed all RFP and RFI responses, company-wide. Defined methodology for bid decisions and proposal development to improve RSI’s processes and quality of bids. Developed RSI’s proposal methodology from the ground up, covering all phases of proposal development lifecycle from pre-RFP Capture Planning through post-submission assessments. Utilized selected best practices from industry experts, and tailored processes to meet the needs of a smaller organization. Trained more than 30 managers and executives on proposal methodology and how to focus writing on differentiation. Provided guidance and insight for others in the organization to work as proposal managers on smaller efforts. Collaborated with VP of Sales and Business Development Managers to actively review pipeline, initiate capture planning processes, and align proposal efforts with corporate strategy. Partnered with Practice Line Leads to develop and continually refine RSI’s messaging and win strategy for new offerings. Developed and managed budgets for the proposal group, including detailed pursuit budgets for all procurements.In parallel to group management, personally managed all large-scale proposals (generally those exceeding $10M contract values), including a winning bid for an integrated tax system procurement valued at $96M. Led teams of up to 25 resources through proposal efforts exceeding 8500 hours, including requirements analysis, competitor assessment, solution design, work estimation, cost and pricing analysis, content development, multi-level reviews, final production, and post-submittal reviews. Took lead for interpreting and refining customer requirements, identifying solutions, and assembling teams of the appropriate subject matter experts to complete the proposals.

As a manager and subject matter expert, worked in team environments to develop strategic tools and RFP responses to generate new revenue for Accenture. Worked with experts in more than 8 countries to create patent-pending capability and strategy assessment tool kit that has already generated more than $100MM in revenue. Listed as an inventor on patent application. Co-authored proposals, managed delivery of functional volumes, and mentored junior staff on sales-focused writing and the RFP response process. Awarded and pending proposals total more than $300MM in potential revenue.
