Love working with PTC's Creo product (who doesn't?). I'm working on the electrical/harnessing side of the advanced propulsion systems and all new engine development for Mercury Marine and Brunswick's boat group, using Creo Schematics 10 and the routed systems set of Creo 8. Recently finished working on the Electric Avator engines, V10 Verado, 600HP V12 Verado and Mercury Joystick Piloting harnesses (joystick docking for multiple outboard engines) and currently taking on the next generation of MerCruiser and Mercury Marine & Mercury Racing outboard engines. On the side, I am chair of the Routed System Technical Committee at PTC/USER, helping PTC develop Creo and Creo Schematics software. I also chair the Oklahoma Pro/ENGINEER users group with meetings in Tulsa and Oklahoma City.One of my biggest contributions to the company is a knowledge base in html that I have been developing since I began work at Mercury in 2002. This is simply a single place to go to for the proper procedures to use within Mercury on harnessing, schematics, ECAD and Teamcenter. Several facilities use this knowledge base to do their daily work. I constantly continue to update it as our software changes over time.Specialties: Using Pro/Engineer since release 10 (circa 1993) and currently using the routed systems set of products. Designing plastic parts, castings and electrical harnesses. Recently started to use the ECAD implementation within Pro/E, between PADS and Teamcenter. I also train others in using the routed systems set of PTC's software.
