Shob Brands became Shobr. A concept where large established brands within the food & beverage category wanted to sell directly to consumers outside the established retail industry.This is because it is very challenging for brand owners to get their full product range marketed and sold through the traditional retail channels. The established retail sector focuses on the established successful products and to a large extent on the purchase and sale of whitelabel of similar products at much lower price and better profit.This frustrates the established brands so Shobr was the opportunity to sell directly to the consumers. The retail industry won the battle and Shobr had to give up in Denmark and move to Germany to try to continue the concept from there.I moved with and became responsible for the warehouse in Germany that was to service Denmark and a number of additional local markets.

I worked for Netpris for two years. Netpris is an e-commerce company that sells grocery products from Germany to Scandinavia. The advantage for customers is the lower German prices for food & beverage products.While I was employed, Netrpis grew over 60% per year and had a strong repeat purchase from customers who bought again and again.At first I had a limited understanding of how to run and e-commerce business, but after two years I left Netpris with a solid understanding of how to run an e-commerce company that sells physical goods across the borderMy experience is:1) How to use the e-commerce platform Magento2) How to use mail chimpanzees to support sophisticated email marketing for 100,000+ recipients every other day.
