Hi, I appreciate you taking the time to visit my profile.Professionally by 2009, I had completed over a decade in senior management roles in operations and project management within the construction industry.In 2010 I undertook a major career change where I re-trained and became a corporate well-being/mental health trainer and workplace well-being consultant.As a trainer, I’m extremely passionate about creating learning environments where everyone learns in their optimal way and adapt my facilitating to ensure this happens. Through continuous evaluation, I have evidenced my training improves employees’ well-being and psycho-education, so they take away information and skills to make positive changes both at work and in everyday life. My management training enables managers increases their education and skills to better support their teams ensuring everyone has the opportunity to fulfil their potential. Consulting and advising organisations helps create more understanding and enhances the company’s ability to support healthier well-being practice in the workplace. Collaborations - I ally with some outstanding organisations throughout the U.K. to deliver training and consulting to a wide range of clients. These include Manchester Mind, Work-Place Mindfulness, and Co-Action Health. Personally, I struggled to with my life for nearly two decades, refusing to believe that my struggles were connected to my mental health or well-being. I burnt out in 2009 and this meant no option other than to seek professional help. What followed were diagnoses of G.A.D., O.C.D., and clinical depression. In 2023 I received an adult diagnosis of ADHD, and the final piece of the jigsaw of who I am fell into place. To help manage and support myself, I have undertaken intensive talking therapies and learnt new skills including psycho-education, coping mechanisms and life skills to learn to manage my multiple diagnoses. This has led me to not only manage but thrive in everyday life. In conclusion, it's my professional and personal experience along with academic learning that helps me bring well-being and mental health to life, giving me the insight to make it real, relevant and relatable to give a lasting and transformative experience to organisations and employees.
