Site Project Supervisor for the Gold Coast light rail project. Installation of tunnel lighting including the installation of 43 lights, tray, 10 exit lights, isolation transformer, Main Switchboard, Distribution board, pits, conduits, cabling, terminating and testing.

Installation of 16 Power Transformers of voltages 132KV/11kv and 132KV/6.9kv. Assembly of radiators, associated pipework, HV bushing install, internal connections, vendor testing, oil filling, circulation and testing. Connection of all wiring to all components and testing. At PLF loading facility supervised a team to complete cable pulling, (power, instrumentation, control and data), terminations, installation of instruments and associated wiring, install cable ladder, channel and earthing. Duties included:•Safety management across site including Incident Injury free culture on site;•Manage / Isolations / Lock-out and Tag-out for work groups;•Carry out daily pre starts, direct work crews to achieve goals, manage requests for scaffold installations and modifications, crane management, materials, work pack and set route cards;•Ensure the safety on site is maintained throughout each work group from prestart to debrief daily;•Ensure enthusiasm is maintained to achieve maximum output and a focused safe work group.

Working in the main utilities area of the gas plant to deliver the electrical and instrumentation services. Duties included:•Safety management across site including Incident Injury free culture on site;•Manage / Isolations / Lock-out and Tag-out for work groups;•Plan the availability and maintenance of test equipment, tools and consumables required for the scope;•Carry out daily pre-starts, direct work crews to achieve goals, manage requests for scaffold installations and modifications, crane management, materials, work pack and set route cards;•Hands on execution with HR / IR experience, staff rosters, employee concerns relating to 4:1 roster, day to day issues, timekeeping, timesheets, roster planning, transport issues;•Ensure scope deviations are identified and budget man-hours monitored;•Coordinate with the Construction Supervisors to ensure handover from Construction is on schedule;•Coordinate with the project QA Supervisor on all quality related issues;•Ensure adherence of work crew to Hazardous Area requirement / compliance;•Establish good working relationship with clients (JKC and Inpex);•Ensure the safety on site is maintained throughout each work group from prestart to debrief daily;•Ensure enthusiasm is maintained to achieve maximum output and a focused safe work group.

WA SHPS South Headland Power Station Project-Construction of 11KV/220KV Substation and 4 gas turbines. Construction of 6 bays of 220kv switchgear including (18 disconnectors,7 circuit breakers, 12 current transformers, 7 voltage transformers, 7 sets of lightning arresters) installation of 3 11kv/220kv step up transformers, relay room, 4 gas turbines and 11kv switch room. Carry out all company and Horizon Power ITRs. Site works carried out under DMB, Horizon Power and WA mines rules. Adherence to mine and site rules compliance at all times. JHA approvals and submission, authority to work programs, corridor and proximity permits. Ensuring safety observers are in place for specific tasks, monitor alcohol and drug compliance, staff issues, rosters, deliveries, budgets, purchasing, claims, site, toolbox talks, diaries, safety audits and compliance to section 44.

Newman Western Australia HV Augmentation Project-Construction of 11KV/132KV Substation.Construction of 6 bays of 132kv switchgear including (46 disconnectors, 17 circuit breakers, 18 current transformers, 17 voltage transformers, 10 sets of lightning arresters) installation of 5 11kv/132kv step up transformers, relay room, installation of 630mm 132kv UG circuit, 132kv OH circuit earth grid and all civil works including conduits, pits and lighting/lightning masks. Carry out all company and BHP ITRs. Site works carried out under DOWNER, BHP and WA mines rules. Adherence to mine and site rules compliance at all times. JHA approvals and submission, Authority to work programs, excavation permits, corridor and proximity permits. Ensuring safety observers are in place for specific tasks, monitor alcohol and drug compliance, staff issues, rosters, deliveries, budgets, purchasing, claims, site, toolbox talks, diaries, safety audits and compliance to section 44. Participate in zero harm and mates programs.
