Aalberts integrated piping systems develops and produces pipe fittings, metal and plastic pipes, valves, and fastening technology for the distribution and control of liquids and gases.As Product Manager Design Service it is my responsibility at a global level to manage, develop and maintain our design software that offers customers easy solutions for using our integrated piping systems in (new) building projects. The design software connects our business with IT and enables customers to easily gain insight into their bill of material. I manage the process and the people involved to make sure that the Aalberts Integrated Piping Systems design software contains all relevant data, products and applications. And manage the involved professionals to develop this software as a team, in close cooperation with Aalberts IPS APAC, Aalberts IPS America and Aalberts IPS W-EMEA. Within this team I also fulfill the role of full stack developer (Revit API/C#/.NET).

With as a customer group several hundred companies with multiple licenses.• Jointly responsible for the development of the BIM design system Adomi• Development and further development of functionalities and architecture, implementation, testing and rollout of new releases from Adomi.• Designing and implementing 3D concepts such as roofs, walls, openings, pipes, dynamic views / plots with cuts, parametric BIM objects (eg system construction and underfloor heating) and libraries with BIM content.• Conversion of data with other systems (DWG, IFC, BCF, quantities etc.)• The development of specific BIM applications on Adomi for installation technology (including integral calculation and design of piping systems) and building management.• Making prototypes for new product-market combinations.• Identifying and translating market questions and developments.• Second-line support for resellers• Prototype / product presentations at trade shows / user days.• Main tools: Delphi and Visual Studio
