Audio Editor:- Voice and dialogue editing from raw Pro Tools session recording files. - Insert room tone from recording session at all edit points for seamless performance.- Remove all audio glitches when possible with precise trimming and log notes for any unusable passages.- Follow producer/director script in Adobe Reader for performance notes and in/out cues.Sound Engineer:- Proficient mixing in Pro Tools and Logic Pro X.- Recording in studio and live environments.- Electronic music and composition in Reason, Ableton Live, and other MIDI compatible DAWs.- Live event audio mixer on Yamaha, Midas, Soundcraft, AVID, DigiCo, and Allen & Heath consoles.- Operate sound at front of house position for audience and monitor position for on-stage artists.Mastering Engineer:- Edit and manipulate stereo mixes in Pro Tools, Logic Pro X, Ozone, Wavelab, and DDP Creator.- Use sculpting equalization to best present musical material for the audible spectrum of frequencies (20hz - 20khz).- Engage multi-band compression and stereo limiting for loudness maximization while maintaining a musical dynamic to the program material.- Import and export audio files, match sample rate and bit depth, and convert to specified output.- Apply audio plug-in effects as necessary and desired by client.- Prepare cue sheets and DDP file sets for duplication/replication, as well as for vinyl lacquer cutting.Technical Director:- Lead of audio/visual department at multi-use building in downtown Chicago.- Event pre-production, client services, vendor coordination, asset management.- Hire, train, and manage audio/visual technical staff.- Purchase, rent, and repair equipment for audio/visual inventory and facility.
