I have over 15 years of experience working in project management, planning and design, monitoring, and reporting on environmental components of infrastructure projects. Over this period, I have worked on projects associated with the construction and operation of a variety of transportation, municipal and mine infrastructure developments. Coordination and management roles have included detailed design and review assignments, design team coordination and correspondence, stakeholder engagement, etc. Through these assignments, I have worked on tasks associated with environmental compliance, but have also provided input into structural engineering details, water resource / engineering review, as well as construction staging. As part of this role, I have served as the key client contact for several private and public organizations, where I have been tasked with building relationships to allow for successful program/project completion. My ability to understand the environmental components / requirements of a project and relay them to design and construction staff continues to be highlighted. This ability has me the opportunity to work with a variety of engineering disciplines throughout Canada and into the United States.Specific environmental technical input that I have provided includes: site environmental management planning and documentation; erosion and sedimentation control; Environmental Management System development, implementation and maintenance; environmental permitting and regulatory consultation; environmental inspection; construction staging; excess earth management; contamination management; fish habitat compensation design and channel realignments; ecological and urban landscape design integration; and, site specific endangered species mitigation. I continue to act as a liaison in consultation/communications with owner/client representatives as it relates to Project Agreement and regulatory compliance on a variety of projects.
