Besides the tasks being performed from 2003-2012 which are still valid in the present role, I am also working with answering RFI’s and RFP’s for Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) requests or for a specific discipline such as Requirements Management. I also work with partners to keep them updated on our latest technology or having joint customer meetings to make opportunity progression. Other tasks are to advise customers on technology adoption, migration and implementation. Work area is the Nordic region.

During one year I was selling the IBM Rational software portfolio towards AB Volvo, Volvo Car Corp and other industrial manufacturing clients and where I reported directly to the IBM Rational sales manager in Sweden.

The technical sales (pre-sale) role held responsibilities such as performing demonstrations and presentations of some of the IBM Rational products within the Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) areas. My main area of insight was within Configuration & Change Management but I also worked with the other disciplines such as RM, TM and PLM.Other responsibilities included identifying and progressing customer opportunities from a technical viewpoint in the sales cycle, acquiring knowledge about the ALM competitors’ strengths and weaknesses in order to develop appropriate value propositions for the customers. Work area was Nordic region.

During the time at Ericsson my main duties were to educated and advise designers in the internal BU’s around Europe on new technology, processes and tools in the area of Configuration- and Requirements Management. Other types of work included participating in internal projects as different roles such requirements manager and being a member of the Change & Control Board (CCB). Work area was Europe.

Main job assignment was to educate external customers on everything from hardware theory, operating systems and office applications. Work area was Sweden.
