Recruited to provide technology leadership to a start-up company (Ardis) in the then-new field of wireless communications. Successful completion of projects led to a series of promotions as the organization grew, changed focus, changed ownership, and was ultimately acquired by Xata Corporation. Xata is a leader in providing Fleet Management Systems using Software as a Service as the delivery method.Led a team to consolidate 4 financial systems (SBT, Solomon, Quickbooks, Simply Accounting) and 5 CRM systems (Clarify, Magic, 2 Siebel CRM Instances and a Sage CRM Database) into one Netsuite Instance. Resolved issues related to a multi-subsidiary setup, currency management, custom sales workflows, and integration with the Verizon/Amdocs QPASS/Item Fulfillment system. Reduced telecom costs by $30,000 per month for Xata through improved tracking and management systems.Completed a revenue assurance analysis project for Xata's Crossbridge Solution product line.Provide IT support for the company's infrastructure and audit committee requirements. Improved functionality and maintenance for the sales division's use of Salesforce.com. Contributed to billing system improvements which reduced processing time for 2 million transactions to 4 hours from 12 hours.
