In charge of climate change (CC) adaptation/mitigation, and biodiversity program management incl. project/program design and formulation, resource mobilization, partnership building; technical/financial execution and support for execution, planning, budgeting, procurement, recruitment, monitoring, quality control, reporting; policy support and representational duties. UBU (Danish Association for Sustainable Development, in English) is a small NGO focused on watsan projects in developing countries, with project experience from India, Tanzania and Guatemala.Guatemala Watsan Project Coordinator: in charge of coordinating and executing project “Capacity building in watsan in La Libertad, Guatemala” with local NGO partner AGUA. The project included local/national capacity building and testing/delivery of low-cost watsan solutions (incl. improved latrines and drinking water systems) on rural target sites.Achievements:• Author and signatory of the approved application for funds to Danida’s Small Project Fund (200.000 USD)• Project manager until departure; project finalized satisfactorily in 2010
