In order to drive the adoption of substantially lower embodied carbon construction materials, the US EPA has been tasked with improving and standardizing embodied carbon reporting through EPDs. Here, I am focusing on several key construction materials (Asphalt, Concrete, Steel, and their related products) to further the adoption of EPDs while also working.
