- Managing large bids including for the Ministry of Justice and the Department of Work and Pensions.- Major successes included two contracts on the MoJ Transforming Rehabilitation programme and the Mission Providence Joint Venture in Australia, where I worked from Sydney and played an integral part in a major market entry.- Responsibilities include project planning, budgeting, team management including recruitment, oversight of the commercial model, review of all tender writing, mitigating risk through risk logs and uploading.- Led on securing more than £15m of new skills business, including around £10m of SFA/ESF Skills Support for the Workforce provision, £2.2m of Work Place Learning contracts and more than £5m of subcontracts from Colleges.- Led successful major welfare-to-work and health bids, including the DWP ESA 18-24 month prognosis Healthcare Provider Led Pilot in 2013 (worth £3.8m) - Ingeus' diversification into the skills market was adopted as a priority after my presentation to the Ingeus Deloitte joint venture board. This was based on a three-month long market analysis project, led by myself, involving staff from both Ingeus and Deloitte. - Have built strong relationships with colleges and other training providers to achieve business-to-business sales (more than £8m). This has involved product development, market positioning and building of brand awareness.- Extensive writing of tenders, to an exceptional standard- External relationships included the Ministry of Justice, Department of Work and Pensions, Skills Funding Agency, LEPs, Local Authorities, Colleges, the Federation of Small Businesses, the CBI and the British Chambers of Commerce.
