Senior Advisor at Business FinlandAs a Senior Advisor of invest in Finland, my main responsibilities are the support and consultative sales for companies in South Korea to establish operations in Finland. I am currently working for world-class opportunities with stimulating challenges in creating new success stories and shaping the future of international business between South Korea and Finland. Why I joined in Business Finland? I worked as General Manager of HD Hyundai Electric at Riyadh in Saudi Arabia during 2017~2020. I made business cooperation with many international companies in Saudi Arabia. I would strongly like to work in an international and multicultural work environment with full of experts someday. Therefore, I joined in Business Finland on August, 2022 after a long journey in Korean companies for last 20 years. What is the attraction in Business Finland? My focus areas are Cleantech including Hydrogen, Wind Power & EV Battery Value Chain, Health, Defence, ICT & Digitalization and Bio & Circular Economy industry. I am bilaterally learning huge combined knowledges from our colleagues who think big and show passion. In addition, Business Finland is a very proactive, equal and esteemed expert organization. Business Finland is not afraid of failure with Sisu. Why Finland? Finland is the best innovative and sustainability-driven country in the world. last year, KCL(Korea Conformity Laboratories) successfully opened a Test Lab at Espoo in Finland to provide performance and reliability evaluation service for EV batteries manufactured in Europe. Today, the investment of foreign companies including KCL in Finland is very smart decision. Finland has an open society, friendly business environment, competitive workforce, reliable infrastructure and a vibrant startup scene like Slush event. Finally, my creed is Luke 16:10 in the Bible. “Unless you are faithful in small matters, you won’t be faithful in large ones.” I am actively working with companies in South Korea to invest in Finland with all my heart.
