Ensure plant is operating in a correct and safe manner, Perform on going maintance, Monitor and adjust were required all plant. Record and advice of any abnormalities. Report writing and record keeping.Upon the completion of my training I was placed as a full time Shift Steam Operator. Operating on a 24/7 Basis 12hr shift Ensure correct chemical levels and boiler treatment, Enter any maintenance jobs as required. Operate , inspect and adjust as necessary all fuel conveyors, Report all faults Ensure balance of plant including Demin plant is operating correctly. DSC operations including Yokogawa and Citek. Staff training and assessment Lockout procedures and the development of Safe Work Practices Control steam and power loadings for Process (sugar Mill).
