Providing services focused on the needs of the cancer patient, such as the provision of otherwise unavailable treatment options or options to relieve and reduce symptoms of cancer diseases or treatment;3. Providing patient transport services to and from the CCA Group’s cancer centres to enable patients to access care;4. Undertaking research into the causes, diagnosis, treatment and/or management of cancer illnesses and publishing the results of that research; and5. Providing training for medical professionals regarding the most recent developments.Although the Foundation is in its infancy, it is already involved in a number of national and international clinical trials and academic research projects into various types of cancers and to provide cancer patients with care and support, both clinically and financially.The Foundation’s Board members work for the Foundation on a pro-bono basis and facilities, accounting services and staffing are provided by the Foundation’s Chairman, Tony Noun.
