All content was sourced dynamically and stored in a bespoke database.- www.bioportfolio.co.uk - an ecommerce market research store listing over 200,000 report titles from 45+ publishers.At its peak BioPortfolio was in the top 40,000 of all global websites with in excess of 30,000 daily visitors.

The Agricultural Genetics Company (AGC) Limited was formed in 1984 to commercialise research from the UK's Agricultural Food and Research Council - BBSRC. AGC developed spin-off companies and research divisions developing new crop varieties, GMO crops, biological crop agents and novel plant based vaccines. My role as Business Development Manager was to identify market opportunities and value their commercial importance eg insect resistant genes for cotton and maize using the Cowpea Trypsin Inhibitor Gene - CpTI gene.

I was seconded to DG VI Agriculture Cereals Division. The traineeship allowed me the opportunity to attend weekly management meeting, research cereal markets and develop an in depth understanding of the Common Agricultural Policy in the mid 1980's.
