I was an overt presence on the landings ensuring a prison regime was facilitated in a safe and orderly fashion. I was a keen staff member with an excellent reputation as a role model to both staff and prisoners, while i was able to successfully engage with the most challenging and difficult people in society in a calm, respectful and instructive way, thus ensuring that i was doing my part successfully with regards to rehabilitation.
