CurrentTo ensure the Speaker of the House of Commons is fully briefed for the day in the Chamber, Advising on procedure, identifying Members of Parliament and their relevant interests to enable the Speaker to be fully informed before calling Members of Parliament to speak in debate.Priming the Speaker before all meetings with Peers, members of Parliament, leaders of business and visiting dignitaries.Taking part in ceremonial duties with the Speaker of the House of Commons.Accompanying the Speaker on all overseas high-level visits and conferences.As Head of the Speaker's Office, dealing with enquiries and correspondence from, amongst others, Peers, Members of Parliament, leaders of religious groups, the Royal Housegold, government departments and members of the public.
