Currently working in Service Management in the Event and Monitoring Team.I have been focusing on the BAU Event analysis and have been updating the governance documentation and the process documentation. I also migrated the National Operations Centre's PCs from Windows XP to Windows 7. For two weeks I worked with the Operational Risk Team to look into the problem of transferring data from vast legacy systems into the Accord System, working around its limitations. I also am currently looking at migrating the Event Management system data into database and eventually looking at building a tool to help with analysis.

Being part of Origin has provided me with a wealth of experience in IT Project Management and IT Support. Over my time with Origin, I spent three months in IT Support and three months in IT Project Management. Within Support I worked with incident and problem management, fine tuning my SQL skills through constant database manipulation and investigation. I part took in testing, implementations and installations. Within IT Project Management, I was put in charge of setting up a Lab to help enable the other streams providing the program with a controlled and secure environment totally separate from the Origin Production environment. This involved procuring the equipment, finding a place to set up the lab and documenting the continued schedule here after. I had to work with external partners, coordinating delivery according to the strict timeframe.
