It employs 165 people and has been in operation since 1989.My responsibilities included managing the Entire Accounts Function for 20 Units (8 Limited Companies). This involved the preparation of monthly management accounts for all units including Fitness Suite, Sports Hall, Clubs & Societies, Retail Shops, Restaurants and Bar.I was also heavily involved in EU Research Grant applications with a focus on ensuring adequate resources were available through funding and existing personnel / funds.

Duggan Steel Group is a Steel Profiling and Steel Stockholding Group that provides a diverse range of steel products (e.g. galvanised sheeting, Mild Steel plates, channels, tubes, etc). The Group manufactures roof cladding and thin sheet roofing and it processes steel coils. The Group was established in 1976 and had an annual turnover of almost €100m.My key responsibilities included the preparation of monthly accounts and cost analysis for 7 companies and assisting Group Accountant in preparation of annual forecasts / budgets.
