    Raised capital and secured financing to acquire the United States Machine Tools (USMT), a rebuilder/retrofitter of large precision CNC machinery; and S&S Precision Machine (S&S), a manufacturer of flight critical and flight safety spares primarily for U.S. Army, Navy and Air Force helicopters. Co-located both companies, directed all P&L activities, translated expertise in business development, aerospace and strategic planning into nearly $9 million in total annual sales for both companies after four years, an increase of over 300%, averaging 40% YoY while maintaining a positive EBITDA. Despite contracted backlog of $5.5 million had to liquidate companies in 2009 due to the credit crisis.  Used expertise in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma and logistics to re-engineer USMT into a lean operation with cellular workflow, high efficiency work teams and point-of-use inventory. Achieved lead time reductions of 60% and earned top supplier status with U.S. Army. Re-focused S&S operation on more profitable highly engineered fuel metering products. Generated, submitted and received approval on numerous DOD technical certifications (SARS) and won multi-year DOD contracts on highly engineered flight safety hardware.
