My role was to develop an international business for the brand focusing on two main areas to sell the brand into being distributors and direct clients. Based out of Hong Kong with back of house operations outsourced through BPO’s (business process outsourcing) in the Philippines.Distributors are set up to have full access to the online systems of both ordering and the unique design your own software. This system was developed so the distributors do not need in house designers and all orders are placed without the need for extra account staff.Direct clients also have access to the site and can place orders directly with the main office in Australia. My other role was to set up the outsourcing of the back of house administration so as to assist with the Asia sales and also the future growth of the brand in Australia and new markets such as the USA.The main markets for distributors are Singapore, Philippines, Thailand, Japan. Other markets for direct clients are Hong Kong, Taiwan, Indonesia and China.

Oversee the development of current global accounts, research and develop new regional and global accounts for 2006 being Nestle and San Miguel. Research other business lines which included opening a new outsourcing division for graphic designers providing creative work to overseas companies. Responsible for achieving a sales target of US$9.5 million for the current financial year. Provide and structure training platform for all sales team, business planning for agents and partner offices. Oversee all OEM projects, tenders both regional and global, annual catalogue product selection. Within one year Fifth L’ement was supplying product to all the main accounts in the Central South American Region, Asia, Africa and Eastern Europe and was an approved vendor for each account.

My role was to oversee the sales for the Philippine, Singapore, Thailand, New Zealand and Australian markets. The clients included both global and regional accounts, being Coca Cola, Philip Morris, Nestle, British American Tobacco, San Miguel, Asia Breweries/Heineken. Other Projects included tenders for GSK regional, Chevron Texaco regional tender, Coca Cola Rugby World Cup (Australia) tender, winning CUB approved vender status and supplying regional offices. I was responsible for overseeing the opening of the first regional office in Asia for Marlow International in the Philippines and expanding to establishing rep offices in Australia, New Zealand and Singapore.
