Responsibility for the Engineering activities of LmP Technical Services, reporting to the Directors of the Company.Responsible for the development and certification of Written Schemes of Examination for the LmP customer base, which covers a wide range of varied plant. Typically this will include Chemical Plant, Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, Paper & Board Industry, Health Care, and the Manufacturing Industry. Provide assistance to LmP clients in the generation of Risk Based Inspection Assessments (RBI) and subsequent Evidence Based Inspection studies (EBI) across a number of COMAH sites.Re-assessment of safe operating limits for vessels showing signs of age related degradation or following repairs.Establishing safe operating limits for vessels where original nameplate data has been lost.Providing repair proposals with detailed calculations for submission to Insurance Companies.Develop and provide training on the practical application of the Pressure Systems Safety Regulations.Through the use of a network of contacts, seminars, reading material and the internet ensure that the companies’ competence, within the relevant fields, remains at a high level, utilizing the skills of other specialists when necessary and working with a full range of staff from the engineers on the shop floor through to engineering directors including specialist engineers at the Health & Safety Executive.Ensure that our activities comply with the relevant Health & Safety Legislation, together with Industry best practice and actively encourage knowledge sharing across the Inspection industry through; •Production of technical bulletins to our customers.•Presenting information at relevant seminars.•Encourage cross co-operation between sites sharing information.
