Reliable automated safety concepts have been occupying my career for 16 years. I am enthusiastic about innovative concepts in the automotive industry, the robust protection level concepts of nuclear technology and the current trends in the machine and process industry. As Security 4 Safety Coordinator, I actively shape the cross-industry and international transformation of functional safety. Increasing cyber threats require the hardening of existing safety and security concepts. Currently, I am concerned with the development and roll-out of practicable security for safety services for our industrial customers. Our TÜV NORD team has developed a comprehensive portfolio of compliance, training and technical safety services and we constantly improving them. As Product Manager Functional Safety, I am responsible for the development and optimization of our Certification and Inspection Services of Functional Safety.

As a project manager for boiling water reactor, I coordinated timely processing and technical quality in the german nuclear supervisory of the boiling water reactors Krümmel and Brunsbüttel.

As a Nuclear Technical Expert, I assessed the probabilistic safety analyzes of 5 German nuclear power plants, reviewed modifications and reported on developments in the state of the art and science in the nuclear field.

In the electronics development at Volkswagen, I examined the technical reliability of an innovative driver assistant system and accompanied the system optimizations.
