Respected South Australian pharmacist and AusPharmList frequent flyer Peter Bayly has now officially retired from his positions with PDL after 26 years and with PSA after 38 years.Peter held numerous posts with both PDL and PSA during his more than 50 years of practice as a pharmacist, including as PSA SA Branch President (1982-84) and as Chair of the SA PDL Local Committee (1988-2013). He was the SA Director of PDL from 2008-2012.He was given a send-off by PDL last month at the Naval, Military and Air Force Club of South Australia.The dinner was attended by PDL Board chairman, vice chairman and CEO plus local committee members and others. Guests included representatives of all major pharmacy organisations and Guild Insurance."It was a pleasant evening and I had the opportunity to thank those who guided me towards and through the pharmacy profession, starting with my parents who encouraged me to get a job after school in 1952 at the local “chemist shop”," said Peter.Peter is still registered as a pharmacist and says will 'consider any offers that come my way'.
