As a senior member of a small Ed Tech services and software development company, a Microsoft Country Partner award winner, I have over twenty five years experience in the Education Technology sector, primarily as an MIS Applications Consultant. I am well-educated, organised, efficient and able to communicate at all levels of business, also being able to interpret requirements from both the highly technical and end-user perspective. Employed in both large market-leading companies and in small organisations, I have been well trained and have developed a very broad skill set and technical knowledge. I am an excellent problem-solver, able to produce work of the highest quality and always open to learning new skills and techniques. I have travelled extensively in my career, implementing software application projects across the globe, having also previously lived outside the UK for a number of years. This has taught me to be very prepared, but also to be very self-sufficient and versatile, with the ability to adapt to any situation. Having worked with Capita, the UK's market leader in education MIS software, for ten years, and Ciber UK, implementing Microsoft CRM applications for blue-chip clients in the not-for profit and elite sports teams sectors, I subsequently joined EDU365 Group fifteen years ago. During that time, I have led implementation projects in hundreds of independent and international schools, across more than twenty different countries. This has involved all levels of participation from sales presentations to government ministers, project management, data migration and on-site training, through to providing individual end-user support. Since 2017 I have also been working on Power BI implementation projects, designing and creating analytical and financial reports for single organisations and large groups in both the education and corporate sectors. This has also included recommending best practice on data schema design, data warehousing and using Microsoft SQL, SSIS and other ETL tools to design the data structure and carry out integrations to their requirements. Over the past seven years, I have been instrumental in designing, implementing and supporting our proprietary software, Everest, which is web and app based and used by schools in multiple countries. This provides school staff, parent and students with a learning platform which has a direct interface to the UK's market leading school MIS system.
