Developed a disabilities care management program for a medium-sized non-profit human services agency. Responsibilities included product definition and development of a product suite for populations never previously served by care management, including adult and late adolescent psychiatric, traumatic and acquired brain injury, developmental delay and autism-spectrum disorders. Developed an external marketing plan that created awareness of the new product suite and re-branded the agency as a provider of high-end specialized services. Conducted print, executive consultation and secondary referral-based strategies that identified the program as a center of expertise. Created clinical protocol sets for major classes of care recipient populations, developed training and supervision processes. Replicated skill set in assessment and sales of program director and senior staff of program to provide for scale-up.

Managed an established Employee Assistance Program and moved them from a small business/practice model to a more formalized structure, in order to serve a wide variety of corporate customers. Developed service delivery protocols for representative sets of existing customers in different business sectors, developed marketing plans for those customers and set up focused meetings with decision makers in those customer companies. Re-structured the company’s call center operations, which improved customer satisfaction, dispatch procedures and evaluated outcomes. Developed new script processes for severely troubled callers, crisis calls and mandated report calls. Assisted the company in developing an eldercare service product that fit into existing services model. Used focus of decision makers in existing customer organizations to evaluate need and interest in new product. Developed call-center and clinical protocols. Trained staff in eldercare call response.

Conducted ongoing education, leadership and frequently mediation between the two owners. Conducted extensive evaluation and mediation work with the principals as well as workgroup support processes and incentives for managers and staff to alleviate hostility and tension within the workplace. Created an exit strategy for the principals that allowed both owners to ‘save face’, save the company from their conflict and allow each to benefit from any potential sale of the company. Principals were able to negotiate separation and company was purchased at a significantly improved position
