Executive Management - Working as part of the Executive Management team to develop and enhance the internal organisation processes and infrastructure to direct Australia for UNHCR’s growth and fulfil its operational objectives. Focusing on systems/process improvements, ensuring organisational effectiveness and compliance and will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the operational aspects of:• Human Resources/Organisational Strategy, including Workplace Health and Safety• Legal and Compliance Management• Operations i.e. Building, I.T Equipment• Risk and Governance and• Company Secretary Duties.Strategic Management - Actively contribute to the strategy, direction, operation, analysis and evaluation of the organisation. Assess. Oversee strategic risk management.Human Resources Management - Provide high level strategic HR and industrial advice to the Executive Management team. Oversee and support the HR activities, ensuring effective systems are in place for the on-going management and monitoring of workplace practices. Ensure HR processes are effective and meet the needs of the organisation. Oversee and contribute to the development of the organisational policy and procedures. Manage current policies, procedures and practices in the workplace to ensure they meet best practice benchmarks and the needs of the organisation.Information Technology - Coordinate and support IT staff and activities across the organisation. In conjunction with IT staff, assess, devise and implement suitable technology solutions to meet the needs of the organisation. Ensure the day to day IT needs of the organisation are met. Monitor internal Communication systems to ensure they are relevant and efficient.Premises and office administration - Provide premises management services across the organisation.
