Since 2006, Peter has become led climate adaptation projects, in association with a university and two climate risk specialist companies. Industries covered in Peter's 43 years of consulting/research experience include power (generation, transmission, supply) and industrial processing of all types, intensive livestock, mining, cropping, waste processing and environmental management, renewable energy (especially wind resources), water resource planning and transport. His active interests include climate risks, disclosures, portfolios and transformations. He participates in the Deep Transformation Network (220 posts) and in on-line courses in river activism, earth-centred law and curiosity. He is currently the Inaugural Chief Curiosity Officer at Informed City, a Brisbane-beased consultancy in all types of climate risk and futures.In 2012-2014, Peter and co-founder partner Karen Lunney travelled extensively to more remote locations of the world where climate and social change are occurring rapidly. Some of these experiences are captured in Karen's award-winning photography (https://www.lensculture.com/karen-lunney) and in various documentary and children's books. He is now in the early stages of books on "Tropics to Poles, 2012 - 2049" and an introduction to the human-water interactions of the hydrosphere with brother ProfessorJames Best (recent author of books and articles on "Big Rivers").He loves renovating Rabbit Holes with fun.
