My solar thermal desalinization invention is top of the list, but I'm always open to other alternatives. Thanks for stopping by,PeteMy name is Pete Bethke and I’ve been passionate about inventing and innovating all my life. I realized early that the knowledge to work with innovations was hidden in several disciplines. This inspired me to study both aerospace engineering and later aviation maintenance. I believe understanding how things really work is fundamental to any invention or innovation, and this combined study exposed me to a fascinating array of possibilities in areas such as hydraulics, structures, thermal, power, energy, electronics, controls, wind, solar, biomass, and more. In my 17 years with NASA I found myself most comfortable with systems engineering, not IT systems, of course, but system of systems. My most exciting times as a systems engineer were spent in advanced mission development. It was a never ending challenge to take the dream of interplanetary space flight, combine it with current technology, integrate into possible scenarios, and build proposals for space architectures.
Listed skills include Systems Engineering, Electronics, Cross Functional Team Leadership, Integration, and 14 others.
