Born in Roseville North Shore of Sydney 1952, where lived til 1960, grew up in Newcastle where I completed 6 form at Newcastle Boys High School 1970, University of NSW as a guinea pig at the new Law School, graduating with B.Comm/LLB in 1975, worked in Melbourne behind various bars til May 1976 and then Eurailed, hitched and Transit vanned across Europe and Morocco before spacing out on a beach on Anti Paros, and working for a month in the Bordeaux during the 1977 Vendage. Returned to Australia via jet-ship London-Singapore-Perth in time for the Melbourne Cup, and worked in Perth til just before Xmas 1977, before returning to NSW doing the College of Law, Admitted as a Solicitor, Attorney & Proctor Supreme Court of NSW July 1978, Admitted as practitioner of High Court of Australia; breaking my teeth as a solicitor in Rozelle, Kiama, and then moving to Townsville with wife and screaming 6 month old, in a Corona lift-back towing a trailer. Admitted as Solicitor of Supreme Court of Qld July 1983; On retainer to QED ATSILS for 4 years with partner Patrick Griffin, and then by myself with many young-bloods who have gone off to greener pastures. Acted for various F&FofThe Mentally ill at the Ward 10 Enquiry; Was Deputy President of Local Parole Board; a Registered Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner; am an ICL/Separate Representative for Children; mainly involved in Family Law, Crime, Wills and Estates, Litigation; granted Community Lawyer Award in 2003; member QLS Inc since 1983; A registered Mediator; Wife and 3 adult children; Love jazz; blues and classics, and the NQ Cowboys, and Tvlle Crocs; Scuba diver since 1990; have since travelled to New Zealand (1990), Bali (2), South Korea, Vanuatu, back to Germany, France 1999/2000, Fiji.
