I lead numerous courses that utilize curricula that have Summit Learning Platform principles combined with state standards which ultimately enhance the learning experience for students and educators. Within the classes I teach, I develop lessons, implement engaging learning activities, and incorporate progressive technologies and resources to reinforce subject matter and concepts discussed in the classroom. I apply differentiated instruction and integrate multiple learning models to meet the needs of each student. To further the success of each learner, I supply academic support outside of the classroom, working with pupils one-on-one or in small groups. Throughout each semester, I monitor student progress and detail observations in an effort to influence future programming and curriculum development. I also lead parent-teacher conferences to discuss student successes and establish a stronger supportive network that leads to greater student accomplishments. • Lead traditional and virtual classrooms on Social Science and ELA subject matter.• Consistently collaborate with and shadow peers to identify effective teaching practices.• Facilitate the Gay-Straight Alliance, Model United Nations, Cycling Club, Spanish Club, Community Service, Film/Book Club, A/V Club, Intercultural/Travel Programs, and Social Justice Leadership
