During my time at L3 Harris I coordinated with Stress, Electrical, ODA, PE, Planning, Procurement, Shops, and HDL to create effective, customer-centric solutions which involved modeling aircraft detail parts, assemblies, and installations in Siemens NX. On top of modeling and drafting parts, I verified and validated designs via aircraft inspection, OEM Data, and 3D printed test parts. With experience designing various aircraft components I was able to mentor peers on the basics of design and company protocol along with creating and presenting structural design reviews for process stakeholders.

My time at Electric Boat involved drafting assembly and test procedure for prototype devices, drafting part disclosures, reviewing and editing design blueprints, drafting and organizing necessary parts lists for build phases, and finally developing simplified design schematics and reports for presentations. At Electric Boat my sense of responsibility and worth ethic were increased even further as I was and continue to be a trusted government employee able to review and work with classified information thanks to my earned secret level government clearance. Electric Boat allowed me to understand how to apply all of the knowledge and skills I gained in the classroom and finally make an impactful contribution to the defense industry. Most importantly, Electric Boat taught me how a healthy corporate environment will function as well as how to be a contributing and essential team member for any company or industry.
