· Installed equipment for and troubleshot T1 circuits at customer premises, and ensured voice and internet services operated at optimum performance, while also installing and servicing maintaining peripheral network equipment at Verizon central offices.· Oversaw local and long distance switch platforms (Lucent 5ESS and Alcatel DMS-100 switches) and associated digital cross connect systems (Tellabs Titan 5500 and 532, and Alcatel 1630 and 1631 DCSs), ensuring network integrity and uninterrupted call traffic.· Performed in-house pretests of customer services to ensure seamless transition of service providers for customers.· Assisted in periodic monitoring and maintenance of power and environmental components, such as generator and HVAC systems, as well as network elements such as switches, DCSs core and edge routers, and fiber transport equipment.
