Peter is the Director of the Resources Infrastructure & Investment Task Force (RIITF) in the Department of Premier and Cabinet (SA). He is a Civil Engineer with extensive involvement in water infrastructure, economic development and management, and major projects. In the 1990's he was involved in corporate restructuring and privatisation and also worked for consulting engineers in the UK. For Government he has worked on various projects including OneSteel's Project Magnet, the Adelaide Darwin Railway and BHP Billiton’s 2006 Olympic Dam expansion. Currently as Director of RIITF, which focusses on working with industry and the community to deliver innovative and transformative solutions, he has responsibility for Government’s role in Nyrstar’s Port Pirie Transformation project, the Steel Task Force and longer term strategic projects including South Australia’s Copper and Magnetite Strategies and the Resources Infrastructure Task Force.
