Financial/Management accounting role within a £35m turnover plastic food packaging manufacturing company, the UK subsidiary of a large French group.Main duties involved month-end reporting, variance analysis, budgeting and forecasting.Involved in various projects including;sales and profitability investigations, automation of month end and reporting tasks to speed up reporting cycle,detailed analysis of overhead spends to identify potential cost savings,procedures for transport and maintenance cost recording to inform management decisionsamongst others.Responsible for governmental reporting including VAT, Intrastat and others (e.g. National Statistics). Successfully resolved issues in large fixed asset system where the output was not corresponding with manual calculations.Airbus UK Management Accountant role. Produced business reports with commentary and variance analysis. Collated and challenged project budgets and costings for annual and monthly forecasting.

No 1 role in the UK finance department for a subsidiary of a Canadian environmental engineering company.
