As an IT Business Analyst within Acute & Specialist Medicine i have worked on a number of different projects of varying size / budgets.My most recent projects include:- Paperless ED Project- Acute & Urgent Care improvement project- Implementation of a new Clinical Trials system- EPR (Electronic Patient Record) system for outpatient departments- Improvements in Sexual Health lab systemsMy responsibilities include:- Requirements gathering and writing requirements specifications- Using wireframe modeller tools to mockup potential screen designs- Engage and manage clinical and non clinical stakeholders- Mapping out process flows for a variety of systems- Writing test scripts for QA- Assisting QA testing for different projects- Managing implementation of different projects- Improve and maintain existing NHS systems- Plan and scope new projects- Manage defects and work with build to resolve issues in new software- Work aligned with the AGILE methodology for projects where possible - Writing design documents and developing them with stakeholders- Work with 3rd party suppliers to integrate IT systems into departments- Lead ITBA across two large clinical divisions

As a Senior Business Analyst within Barclays I have worked on a number of large projects involving all areas of banking from account opening and lending to account maintenance and mobile / digital banking. My most recent project was delivering a multimillion pound branch solution that provides users with the following functionality:- New Account Opening process- Account Servicing Process including Lending - Add / Remove Party process My main responsibilities as a Senior Business Analyst include:- Gathering of requirements for projects- Writing of High Level and Detailed Functional requirements - Stakeholder engagement and management through the requirements process- Creation of AS IS and TO BE models for what is to be built- Creation of screen mocks ups of what is to be built using a wireframe software modeller - Organising and facilitating design working groups- Writing the Operational Design document- Review and feedback on technical documents- Work with SIT-I & UAT testers to define scope- Highlight testing defects and work with build / test to resolve - Assist knowledge management and designers in creating the training for staff- Work with the programme / project manager to ensure a smooth delivery- Responsible for line managing a number of Business Analysts- Owning various work streams on larger projects- Mentoring other members of staff through the Barclays coaching programme
