In this role, I work within our Aged Care homes as a Facility Manager (Burwood home – 18 months, Miranda home – 6 months), offering person-centred care to residents. In this role, I managed the Diversional Therapy needs of 116 residents of an aged care facility, including high needs dementia residenta, for Allity's Redleaf Manor in Concord.Duties included:▪ Coordinated daily operations for a team of seven staff, as well as working in conjunction with our Registered Nurses and Care Managers to assist with management of up to 20 nursing staff per shift.▪ Undertook all reporting for the General Manager, producing weekly, monthly and annual reports. ▪ Successfully introduced and implemented a new spirituality program and an inter-generational program within the home, linked to and involving the local community. ▪ Built networks within the community, including a new volunteer program, art therapy, music therapy and dementia-specific programs. ▪ Worked closely with the Marketing Manager and Operations Manager, assisting with home occupancy rates and marketing campaigns, as well as other special events held within the home. ▪ Responsible for the meticulous record keeping and care plans for all residents, documenting their non-clinical needs, in accordance with the Australian Aged Care Quality Standards and the Redleaf Manor accreditation.

My duties included:▪ Oversee the sales and promotion of company products and services, supporting WoodBridge to undergo a transformation through continuous communication with major corporations, NGO programs and clinical supervision. ▪ Lead day-to-day operations for the marketing team, including coaching and mentoring of staff, daily communication and training programs. ▪ Undertake risk assessments at WoodBridge, implementing mitigation and management measures. ▪ Provide client mentoring and support to Police Officers, Corrective Services Officers, Ambulance Officers and Paramedics after a major or critical incident. ▪ Design, promote and run events and workshops. This included delivery of several court ordered workshops for NSW Corrective Services (EQUIPS) to support recent paroles to manage anger and provide skills for their return to society after incarceration. These are 10-week programs and tailored according to the requirements of differing types of paroles. ▪ Deliver fund-raising events for Woodbridge to raise awareness of programs, as well as delivering keynote speeches at events run by Lawyers/Solicitors who provided support to victims of domestic violence.▪ Manage the reporting, invoicing and banking for all events and programs, as well as training of facilitators for all programs.
