Drug Safety• 16 years (2000-2016) Drug Safety for Roche, J&J, and Schering Plough/Reckitt Benkiser focused on cross functional teams for Benefit – Risk Management in multiple disease areas (CNS, Oncology, Anti-inflammatory, Dermatology, Pain, Abuse Liability) including safety signal assessment from discovery through marketed products. Direct and/or review responsibility for drug safety documents including ISMP, SST, and relevant sections of IB, protocol, SSR, and DSUR. Led team based efforts for signal detection, risk mitigation and life cycle strategy potentially including HA negotiations (e.g. vemurafenib, dermatologic findings). Personal focus at Roche has been on early development with study sites in US, EU, Japan, Korea, and China. Licensing• 10 years participation as drug safety team member on due diligence reviews for product licensing, CNS and Oncology, Phase 1 - 3 (n > 15) and merger / acquisition (n = 1); emphasis on identification of clinical safety issues impacting development potential as communicated in pharma partnering format and/or a full due diligence document for drug safety.
