Timemaps took over from Appian Way Software with the particular aim to make history accessible through animated maps - or timemaps, as we call them. We're building a free online atlas of world history (which came first in an American poll of social stuidies sites produced all over the world), and a series of Timemaps on different topics - Roman Empire, Black Death, Explration and Discovery, Atlantic Slave Trade etc. We aim to produce between 30 and 50 titles.

Have worked on various projects: CookIt, History's Heroes, Museum Box, Myths and Legends, the Abolition Project

Founded and ran Appian Way Software Ltd - published educational software for history - lots of titles, but our best- selling series was the Data-100 series: each disk contained 100 historical sources on a particular topic (Medieval England, Black Peoples of Americas etc - 30 titles). Sold to over 60% of UK secondary schools, and lots in the US as well.
