Academic Visitor in the Engineering Systems of Systems Group at Loughborough University, supporting EU Research on Cyber Physical Systems, and accredited Review Team Member for High Risk Programmes with the UK Government's Major Projects Authority.

Provided independent advice to a wide range of complex programmes inside QinetiQ and with external clients including: MOD, Home Office, Government Agencies, Met Office, NPIA, Dept for Transport, Nuclear Decommissioning Authority, Dept for Local Government, US DoD (DARPA) and Australian DoD.

Established and led a mixed team of military/civilian/consultant staff, growing to 100 strong, responsible for ensuring the integration of major MOD development projects, largely in C3I domain. The programme included the creation of novel tools, frameworks (eg MODAF) processes, integrated test facilities and staff development, underpinned by technical assurance.Member of NATO C3 Board

Responsible for leading development and roll-out of Systems Engineering processes across 9,000 strong agency. Worked with MOD to support development of new engineering processes in Smart Procurement. Assisted Defence Academy in developing and delivering the Systems Engineering in Defence Masters Course. Advisor to MOD on the Battlespace Digitisation Programme
