In my capacity as Project Supervisor, I spearhead research into climate change mitigation efforts, a role situated within the MSU Invasive Plant Ecology Management Group and under a grant from the US Department of Agriculture (USDA). These endeavors focus on augmenting ecosystem resilience against a spectrum of parameters including elevated CO2 levels, increased wildfire, nitrogen deposition, and the encroachment of invasive flora across 1 billion acres of Montana's Conservation Reserve Program lands. This multifaceted project addresses immediate ecological challenges while providing a framework for grassland restoration activities.
