Motivational Speaker
In March 2015, I suffered a catastrophic, life changing motorcycle accident, in which my left arm became permanently paralysed. To be told that I will never move my arm, hand or fingers ever again, due to a spinal cord injury sustained in the accident was extremely traumatic. I was 26 years old and felt invincible, then in a matter of 5 seconds, my life changed, irreversibly. This is my story of recovery, resilience, perspective and taking responsibility for one's actions. Follow me on my journey, of learning how to live with one paralysed arm, on riding motorcycles again single handed and reaching number 1 in the UK in T46 Long and High Jump - with the ultimate aim to reach 2020 Tokyo Paralympics.
T46 Long Jump Para-Athlete
Representing Southampton Athletics Club I was #1 in the UK for Long/High Jump in 2017/18/19 in T/F46 and #1 for 100m in T46. Sadly, I just missed the cut for Tokyo Paralympics in 2021, and I am now taking a break in para-sport activities whilst raising my young family.
