A first line role, working across the Portfolio Managers, Dealers and Securities Finance departments focusing on their Business Processes and Controls.

Risk Lead for EMEA operations • Provide subject-matter expertise on operational risk management, business continuity, and internal controls.• Partner and consult with local management teams across EMEA to identify, assess, mitigate and report key operational risks. • Conduct targeted risk assessments (across functions and/or locations). Make risk based recommendations for control and/or business process improvements and monitor through to implementation.• Review loss event and incident reports. Ensure appropriate mitigation plans to prevent recurrence are implemented effectively.• Manage the Self-Identified Audit Issue program. Promote and facilitate self-identification of key risks through close working relationship with operations partners.• Evaluate manual processes and controls to identify opportunities to automate, strengthen and/or migrate to alternative work-flows to reduce operational risk. • Manage Internal Audit visits, and the subsequent tracking and remediation of any Audit issues raised. • Produce and develop Key Performance Indicators for the Operations and Client Services Executive monthly management reporting package.Risk and Control Representation• BCP Lead Coordinator for EMEA. • EMEA Risk and Control Committee member, supporting the International Operations and Client Services management.• Member of the International Operations and Client Services management team.TECHNICAL AND BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES• Trusted advisor to the business• Trusted partner to corporate functions and other business units• Effective networker – able to develop and maintain credible relationships at all levels• Subject matter expert in a broad range of operational disciplines both as a contributor and as a line manager• Skilled operational and risk management practitioner
