With over 30 years experience working in the horticulture and charity sector I have built up extensive knowledge of the industry. From a young age I had a hose pipe in my hands watering plants, helping at the production nursery, mixing compost and enjoyed selling plants, progressing to a senior management roll and then as General manager. I have worked in all areas of the industry which has given me a strong understanding of each department. As General manager of a large growing family owned garden centre, farm shop and cafe I believe in being hands on, working alongside directors, management and staff building strong skilled Teams. My strengths lie in management, human resources, overall operations, customer service, knowledge of plants, sundries and the horticulture industry.
