My name is Peter Buser. I am a graduate from Hudson Valley Community College with an associates for Electrical Construction and Maintenance (GPA 3.32). This degree mainly focuses on understanding the theory of electricity and applying it to real life scenarios. My work experience has enabled me to develop skills that would be of great value to any employer, including National Grid. At Access Compliance, I learned the importance of safety in the workplace and how to identify safety hazards. Certifications include Reasonable Suspicion, ARC Flash and Electrical Awareness Training, as well as Heart Saver, CPR, and AED. Completed courses include OSHA 10 Hour Construction and OSHA 10 Hour General Industry. I have assisted in safety training courses and updated SDS Sheets for the company.Working for Rainbow Sprinklers & Drainage I developed a strong work ethic by working long hours in all weather conditions. Snow removal required me to work on call and through the night. At times I traveled out of state. Working on a crew for large construction projects, I learned the meaning of the famous saying, “The team is only as strong as the weakest link.” Skills include operating equipment, customer service, trouble shooting and problem solving.Comalli Electric enabled me to take the electrical theory I learned in the classroom and apply it in the field. I worked in jails, banks and schools installing low voltage technology systems and medium voltage systems. I often had to work with other contractors to complete the project.
