I worked as a Family Advocate in the Mother's with Son's shelter of Casa Myrna. Typically, mothers with teen or preteen age sons have a hard time finding a shelter that will accept them. Casa Myrna created a shelter specifically for these needy families. As a family advocate I helped the families navigate the social service system as they prepared to get.
