As an Anthropologist trained in identifying the cultural influences on human behavior, I consult on organizational culture, culture change, team and leadership cultures, and cultural adaptation. Previously I was Vice President at Beall Research, Inc., where I found, managed, implemented, and delivered on strategic qualitative market research projects for B2B and B2C clients. This work was highly strategic in nature -- designed to inform and trigger critical business decisions -- and covered a great variety of industries and markets -- IT services, CPG, transportation, media, finance, etc. Before that I was Founder/Principal at SPOKE Solutions, Inc., where I supported a variety of clients with organizational development consulting, team-building and organizational education interventions, strategic qualitative market research, and cross-cultural business coaching. I supported corporate innovation initiatives with insightful, deep-dive qualitative market research, innovation platform development, inspiring ideation workshops, and concept writing. I delivered creative and effective corporate retreats, workshops, and seminars designed using a dynamic needs discovery process and a highly collaborative methodology. The team-building solutions I provided helped teams at all different levels understand themselves better, define their strategic goals more insightfully, awaken more purposeful motivation ... and then deliver clear value to the bottom line. A gifted management and group facilitator, coach, trainer, and moderator, trained as an Anthropologist at the University of Chicago (PhD 1992), I am a native English speaker near-fluent in German, French, and Spanish.
