Working as a third officer on a container vessel. My duties involve the safe navigation of the vessel, monitoring crew movements about the deck as they conduct daily duties and ensure the safety of all on board. When in port my duties shift to cargo operations and ensuring cargo is loaded in a safe and efficient manor.
